For Immediate ReleaseTue, Dec 6, 2016
Friday, Dec. 16 at the Eldorado
RENO, Nev. (Dec. 6, 2016) – Each year, holiday spirit shines from door-to-door of the Eldorado Resort Casino and there’s certainly no shortage of that this Christmas. In light of the season, proceeds from the Dec. 16 performance of “Miracle on 34th Street,” now showing in the Eldorado Theatre, will be donated to the local Salvation Army chapter. Last year, the Eldorado was able to make a donation of over $24,000 from show ticket sales and this year, they hope to beat that number.
“Miracle on 34th Street” is a heartwarming musical based on the 1947 holiday movie of the same name. The story revolves around single mother Doris Walker, who doesn’t want her daughter’s head filled with romantic notions about Christmas. That is, until they both discover that the Macy’s Department Store Santa Clause may actually be the real Kris Kringle.
Tickets for the Dec. 16 performance of “Miracle on 34th Street” are $40, or $50 for VIP and can be purchased through the Salvation Army by calling 775-688-4555 ext. 230 or in-person at the Salvation Army office located at 1931 Sutro Street.
