RENO, Nev. (Nov. 29, 2016) – The Eldorado Resort Casino, Silver Legacy Resort Casino and Circus Circus Reno are pleased to invite their guests to spend Christmas with the Caranos by dining in one of many award-winning restaurants offering special holiday menus in observance of the merriest time of the year.

 

Eldorado Dining

For a casual celebration, The Buffet at the Eldorado prepares a bountiful all-you-can-eat feast where traditionalists and gourmands will find what they’re craving. The carving station will feature classics like roast turkey breast, house smoked sausages, old-fashioned baked ham, roasted rosemary leg of lamb and roast prime rib of beef. Guests will also find favorites like peel and eat shrimp and chilled crab legs plus tasty entrées like pork loin with roasted balsamic onions, broiled sirloin steak, crab cakes, mushroom ravioli, honey balsamic chicken breast, cheese stuffed meatball slider marinara, pasta Bolognese and grilled blackened salmon. Dessert rounds out the meal with assorted holiday pastries, cakes and pies including pumpkin pie, chocolate cream pie, cannoli, cobbler, bread pudding with rum sauce and nine flavors of homemade gelato. Available Christmas from 11:30 a.m. for $31.99 for adults, $26.99 for Club Eldorado Gold members and above and $14.99 for children ages ten and under at The Buffet.

An unforgettable experience awaits at Roxy, where in addition to the regular menu, a special three-course Christmas dinner and wine pairing will be served. To begin, diners will enjoy a a glass of Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs, 2013, a vintage sparkling wine from North Coast, California which has bright and fresh aromas of grapefruit, mango, apricot, lemon and white peach. Dinner then begins with a roasted butternut squash bisque, featuring spaghetti squash with truffle essence and pomegranate crème frâiche, followed by the main course, a 32 oz. porterhouse steak for two with smashed potatoes, creamed Brussel sprouts with bacon and white asparagus. The bisque will be paired with Ferrari-Carano Reserve Chardonnay, 2013 and the steak with Ferrari-Carano Cabernet, 2013. Eggnog bread pudding with spiced vanilla anglaise, gingerbread cookie crumbs and Ferrari-Carano Eldorado Gold, 2009 completes the meal. This shareable meal is $88 per person with a minimum of two people, or $53 per person without wine selections. Dinner will be served starting at 5 p.m. and the regular menu will also be available.

The Prime Rib Grill invites guests to a trip to The Grill’s famous soup and salad bar featuring a lobster bisque before enjoying a crusted New Zealand rack of lamb with sweet potato masa and white chocolate pumpkin mousse with pomegranate sauce for dessert at $42.00 per person. Dinner will be served starting at 5 p.m. and the regular menu will also be available.

Eldorado’s Executive Chef Ivano Centemeri adds Italian flair to Christmas at La Strada for $56 per person starting at 5 p.m. Antipasto – which translates to “before the meal,” is a gourmet salad with little gems lettuce, persimmon, candied pecans, shaved goat cheese and champagne vinaigrette. Primi piatti – or first dish and traditionally a pasta plate – is Paccheri with lobster “sugo” (or sauce) and meat tortelli “piemontese” followed by secondi piatti – or main course – potatoes crusted red snapper with eggplant caponata and petite veal chop with porcinis and creamy chardonnay sauce. For “dolce,” or dessert, a Zabaione panna cotta with chocolate sauce, pomegranate seeds and crunchy almonds. Buon Natale! (That’s Merry Christmas in Italian.) La Strada’s regular menu will also be available.

Millie’s24 will have traditional Christmas items on their menu available from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. including pecan-glazed honey ham served with scalloped potatoes, butternut squash and green beans, Hunter’s style chicken with tomato, onion and mushrooms together in a wine-infused chicken brother served with buttered pasta and Shepherd’s Pie. All of these items are just $14.75 and a pumpkin pie, apple pie or cranberry chiffon can be added for an additional $2.75. A soup or house salad can be added for $1.75.

 

Silver Legacy Dining

At Flavors! the Buffet inside the Silver Legacy, delight your senses with an irresistible array of taste sensations and indulge your Christmas appetite for variety. The pantry and salad table will include snow crab legs and chilled shrimp, sweet corn bisque, baby kale and quinoa salad, saffron tortellini with smoked salmon and sweet potato and purple yam salad. Over at the carving station, honey-baked ham, slow-roasted prime rib and herb-roasted turkey breast are just a few of the delicious meats being served. Entrées will include herb-crusted leg of lamb, herb-crusted petrale sole, little neck clams, braised duck legs, braised country pork ribs and chicken parmesan. Asian specialties will include spicy garlic shrimp and Szechuan beef and broccoli. At the pasta and pizza station, smoked salmon pizza, seafood ravioli, three cheese tortellini and housemade mushroom ravioli will be served.  Desserts include pastries, cakes, tartlets, parfaits, mousses, fruit pies and sugar-free desserts upon request. Served 11:30 a.m. to closing., adults are $31.99 and children ages ten and under will be $14.99.

A sixteen-time Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence Winner,” Sterling’s Seafood Steakhouse’s Christmas feast includes a choice of mushroom ravioli with black and white truffle, fresh herbs and parmesan garlic cream or crab and mango salad, roasted corn and mussel chowder or butter lettuce salad, and prime CAB filet of beef with roasted fingerling potatoes, seasonal fresh vegetables and stilton demi glaze. This complete meal begins at 5 p.m. on Christmas Day and is available for $56 per person.

Pearl Oyster Bar and Café Central, which offers casual dining, an open atmosphere and quality cuisine will serve a prix fixe Christmas dinner consisting of a choice of butternut squash bisque or seasonal field green salad, honey-glazed ham with cranberry-apple compote, creamed mashed potatoes, sage apple dressing and seasonal vegetables or roasted tom turkey with creamed mashed potatoes, sage apple dressing, candied sweet potatoes, turkey giblet gravy and seasonal vegetables, and a holiday-spiced rum cake with pear chutney for dessert. This delicious meal will be served for $18.95 plus tax starting at 11 a.m.

 

Circus Circus Reno Dining

The Steakhouse at Circus Circus Reno will serve a three-course menu for $39.95 to include choice of bibb lettuce salad with crispy pancetta, red onion, candied pecans, goat cheese and a roasted tomato vinaigrette or cauliflower bisque with braised shallots, roasted garlic and tempura cauliflower, choice of traditional roast turkey, braised short ribs, holiday salmon en papillote or tournedos of beef tenderloin and a homemade eggnog cheesecake for dessert. Entrée side choices include honey-glazed carrots, Brussel sprouts with bacon, pine nuts and raisins, oven-roasted sweet potatoes with marshmallows and candied pecans or creamed spinach. Dinner begins at 5 p.m.  

The Americana Café will have a special Christmas buffet set up beginning at 4 p.m. at $15.95 for adults or $7.99 for children ages eight and younger. The salad station will include a lemon quinoa salad, beet and apple salad and a tossed green salad with balsamic cherry dressing. At the carving station, roasted Tom turkey or pineapple-glazed ham will be sliced up for guests to enjoy. Additional main attractions include roasted leg of lamb with mint sauce, rotini pasta primavera with Pomodoro sauce, catfish with creole sauce, rotisserie chicken, sweet potatoes with marshmallows and corn bread stuffing. Dessert will include pumpkin and apple pie.

 

After feasting, guests are invited to see “Miracle on 34th Street” at the Eldorado Theatre. This musical is a heartwarming tale based on the classic 1947 holiday movie of the same name. The story revolves around a single mother who doesn’t want her six-year old daughter’s head filled with romantic notions about Christmas. That is, until they both discover that the Macy’s department store Santa Clause may actually be the real Kris Kringle. Don’t miss this wonderful musical suited for all ages.
